Hi friends, Thank you so much for your kind supportive words on my last blog post. Sharing a unique mini album I designed using fabulous dies from Crealies and gorgeous papers from Dress My Craft .
Octagonal Mini Album
I framed a beautiful girl [ fussy cut from the pattern paper] in a handmade frame[ made at home using a silicon mold and Sakura clay] and added handmade foam flowers atop an octagonal box which houses the mini album.

The octagonal mini album is held closed with a felt band embellished with a lacy border and a gorgeous pearl carpet!

The mini is made of 9 octagons and each octagon flips over in such a way that when all the pages are opened you have a lovely floral design!

I was just playing around with ideas for my Crealies DT post when this design struck me and I love how it turned out. It is very easy to make and can be adapted to other shapes also. Here is the video showing how the album unfolds and also a quick Tutorial

Birthday Shaker Card Hi friends...sharing a fun Birthday Shaker card featuring "candles". This is my DT project for the Cuttlebugmania Challenge where the theme is Candles/Light. Paper Stars Hi friends I love making handmade decorations and every Christmas I do try to make something handmade! Sometimes it is really elaborate and sometimes it is something very very simple. So for my DT post for Maureen's Rudolph Days Challenge I am sharing a quick and easy to make Christmas decoration - a Paper Star which is rather unique in that you can fold it and keep it away for easy storing. Christmas Stars These 3 dimensional stars were made with 6 squares of paper ,each measuring 12 cm[4 ¾ inches] and the complete star measures 6.5 inches. I used the new Crealies Squash fold die[ the same one I used to make the Apron Squash fold album ] to quickly cut out the squares as they have the score lines in place but you can also hand-cut the squares Christmas Stars Since you will be able to see all the sides of these stars ,if you are using single sided pattern paper you can stamp the reverse...
